Objective In order to reduce the nerve fatigue caused by long-term electrical stimulation and improve the treatment efficiency, this study compares the blocking threshold of a variety of stimulation modes in nerve conduction block, and chooses the best stimulation mode for animal experiments. Methods We used the myelinated nerve fiber with limited length as the research object, and the Frankenhaeuser-Huxley (F-H) model for mammal’s marrow nerve fiber as the basic system. We simulated the symmetrical biphasic pulses, sinusoidal pulses, intermittent biphasic pulse clusters and symmetrical biphasic pulses superimposed with different SNR noise to compare the block threshold. Results In the simulation, the symmetrical biphasic pulse wave had a lower blocking threshold than sinusoidal pulses and biphasic pulse cluster. The symmetrical square wave superimposed -50dB of white Gaussian noise could reduce the blocking threshold. Conclusions In the same conditions, the blocking threshold of symmetry biphasic pulses is lower than the others, and the effect of the symmetrical biphasic pulses superimposed with -50dB noise has a lower blocking threshold.
