Objective To obtain the stress and deformation distribution nephogram, the pressurediameter curve of the stents during stent expansion, and to obtain performance data of balloon-expandable stent.Methods The finite element analysis software ANYSY was used to carry out the numerical simulation and compared with the experimental date by using the volume control model of ballon stent. Results The model of balloon stent could well simulate the expansion process of balloon-expandable stent. When the balloon was inflated to the maximum diameter, main structure and reinforcing connection position of stent model could produce plastic deformation, and the maximum stress was distributed at the connecting position. Conclusions The performance of the scaffold can be optimized by finite element analysis.
