论中国高等院校生物医学工程本科专业的核心竞争力

Core competencies for undergraduates in biomedical engineering in Chinese universities

摘要:

生物医学工程是一门交叉学科,我国对生物医学工程专业学生的培养有着多样化的特点,各高校多根据学校学科特色及研究优势,制定针对不同类型人才的培养方案,体现了各学校的专业特色,但这种多样性弱化了生物医学工程专业区别于其他工程专业的核心竞争力。因此本文从“生物医学工程类教学质量国家标准”出发,基于生物医学工程产业的要求,明确了生物医学工程专业本科生应具备的知识体系结构,提出了生物医学工程专业本科生区别于其它工程专业学生的显著特征,即核心竞争力,包括多学科交叉知识体系,以及与医生顺畅交流的沟通能力、生理信息测量与分析的实践能力和大数据综合与分析处理的决策能力。

Biomedical engineering is an interdisciplinary which makes the diversification in undergraduate’s cultivation among universities in China. Each university designs special training program for biomedical engineering undergraduates based on its own academic advantage and characteristics to feature professional development direction of undergraduates. However, this diversity weakens the core competencies of biomedical engineering which is different from other engineering majors.Therefore, starting from the "national standard of teaching quality of Biomedical Engineering" and based on the requirements of biomedical engineering industry, this paper defines the knowledge architecture that biomedical engineering undergraduates should have, and puts forward the significant characteristics of biomedical engineering undergraduates that are different from other engineering majors, that is, core competitiveness, including interdisciplinary knowledge system, and Communication ability with doctors, practical ability of physiological information measurement and analysis, and decision-making ability of big data integration and analysis.
