The degradation of poly (DL-Lactic acid) and polyethyleneglycol block copolymer (PELA) was monitored in vitro and vivo. PELA degradation was observed in vivo at 5th day with scanning electron mioroscopy (SME), and molecular weight determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) showed a reduction to 97% after 8 weeks in vivo and 92% in vitro, whereas the mass loss change was 8% only. The causes were discussed, degradation of DL-PLA was studied in vitro and in vivo and was analyzed. The results showed that...
