The most commonly used electrophysiological technique in intraoperative neurologic monitoring is somatosensory evoked potential(SSEP), which is commonly extracted by using coherent averaging clinically because of the induced signals with low noise ratio. Based on independent component analysis (ICA), a SSEP instrument was designed in this paper, which could regulate the amplitude, frequency and duty cycle of the stimulation. More importantly, it required fewer times of stimulation and fewer details of the extraction, even realized realtime display were lost through the rat experiment. Therefore it had a well medicine aoolication prospect.
