Objective To reveal the trend of artificial heart research papers and provide the literature assistance to the researchers in the related fields. Method Based on the information platform of ISI web of knowledge, and literature metrology and microsoft excel softwarewe present the literature analysis and comparisons of artificial heart in science citation index （expanded）in different aspects. Result These analysis results find the research of artifical heart is rising, and American, German and Japan have been on top 3 in the artificial heart research in the world. Conclusion Artificial heart research in china has achieved obvious progress, and more necessary founding is needed.
