Objective To develop an electrocardiograph(ECG) monitor for family health care. Methods The ARM920t-based microprocessor s3c2440 was adopted as MCU which controlled the ECG data acquisition. The ECG signal were recorded and displayed in real time based on the embedded software which was designed integratedly to analyze the abnormal ECG signals. In order to detect the QRS wave accurately, the difference and threshold methods, which were perfect for embeded system, were adopted. Results The system displayed the ECG waves dynamically in real time. It recognized four types of abnormal ECG signals and analyzed the status of the patient’s ECG signals well. Conclusions The ECG monitor works reliably and is easily operated, that satisfies the demand of family care, and has broad application prospects.
