Objective In order to monitor ECG signals comprehensively and remedy the defects of single ECG detection, an implantable three-lead ECG radio telemetry system based on wireless power transmission technology is designed and achieved. Methods The wireless power transmission device supplies energy for the system, the implantable miniature electronic capsule detects ECG signals, and the detected data are received by the data logger wirelessly and processed by the processing software. In the simulation experiment, simulated ECG signals, sine-wave signals and square-wave signals are used to prove the performance of the system respectively under DC power supply. In the experiment in vitro, the signal lines are shielded and buried in the pork under the wireless power supply. Results The three types of signals can be detected in the simulation experiment and the signal wave with noise is detected. Conclusions The capsule works properly under DC power supply. Pork has a certain degree of shielding effect of magnetic field under wireless power supply.
