Objective Early detection of the tumor is of great significance to patients.Because of the high quality of phase-contrast imaging for soft tissues,such as lung,the micro level of tumor can be detected and quantitatively analyzed to make the early detection of cancer.Methods The human lung cancer cells were taken out after 10 days’ culture in the lungs of KM mice.The phase contrast images were obtained in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility.The histopathologic images after sample section and HE stain were observed by using optical microscope.Then the conventional filtered back projection algorithm was used for the reconstruction of the CT slices.The lung tumor’ location was verified by comparing the histopathologic image with CT slice image.Finally,the 3D model was built by using Amira software.Results The 3D model of the lung was obtained which is capable of detecting the small tumor nodules,and the volume of the tumor was 0.655mm3.Conclusions The resolution of soft tissue is high by using phase-contrast imaging,and it is significant for early detection of the tumor.
