Objective To improve the measure precision and the detect efficiency of the bone densitometer produced by OsteoPro in Korea by using the control chip FPGA.Methods The system is based on the chip XC3S250E-4,a kind of field programmable gate array,and uses MAX1449 to realize A/D conversion and K6T4016V3C-TF70 to save data.The whole process utilizes a kind of USB chip—FT232H to transmit data.Results The result demonstrates that the system has a higher precision and superior performance.Conclusions This high-precision measuring system is the core of the performance improvement in the ultrasonic bone densitometer.
