Objective To conduct empirical study on the comprehensive benefits of traditional surgery and robotic surgery and analyze the applicability of assessment index system and then to provide reference for hospital management to make scientific decisions.Methods Based on the theory of comprehensive benefit assessment, the study applied literature research, expert consultation, analytical hierarchy process and empirical study for the establishment of the assessment index system.Results The study successfully established an applicable and operable index system to assess the comprehensive benefits of minimally invasive surgery.Conclusions Based on modeling and quantification of social benefits, the index system conducted positive exploration for quantitative assessment of social benefits.
