Since implantable medical devices (IMD) are widely used all over the world, its security and stability are more and more focused on. Mechanical factors are considered one of the important causes, small yet reiterative mechanical loads may lead to damages on IMDs elements. As a result, measurement and analysis on the sport information of key anatomic sites in daily living activities are helpful to optimize IMDs’ designing and implanting plan. Three research methods of human body kinematics and simulation of daily activities are summarized, and the latest developments in this field are introduced. Then the paper points out the issues that need to be improved and prospects valuable research directions.
