Objective To investigate acellular dermal matrix (ADM) combined with bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSC) for the repair of skin defects in SD rat. Methods We identified BMSCs by flow cytometry after the bone marrow cells of SD rats were cultured, proliferated, purified, passaged, and then we inoculated BMSCs into ADM. After two days, the ADM combined with BMSC was transplanted into the skin defect of SD rats to observe the repairing effect for five weeks. Results The repairing effect of ADM combined with BMSC in the skin defect of SD rats was good. The visible material was linked closely and flexibly with the organization of SD rats, and the color was closed to the normal skin after five weeks. Conclusions ADM combined with BMSC could be used as a tissue engineering material for repairing the skin defect of SD rats.
