Training of the experimental ability is an important part of the medical postgraduate education. Through many years of practice we have found a four-step training method, including basic training, consolidation and strengthening training, proficient and deepening training, expansion and enhancement training. By this four-step training, the students’ working style of objectivity and seriousness should be established. And students should learn the concept of quantitative and aseptic operation, and gain the ability of doing experiment independently. With this foundation they can develop further in medical science.
