Dedifferentiated fat (DFAT) cells, which to a large extent meet the demands for the ideal seed cells of the regenerative medicine research for its extensive sources, convenient drawing, strong proliferation ability, weak immunogenicity and stable phenotype, have become a research hotspot in many fields. This thesis conducts a review on the induction methods of the differentiation of induced DFAT cells in vitro into multiple directions, the multi-directional differentiation and the tissue repairing features of DFAT cells. At present, the study on DFAT cells still stagnates at the early stage of seeking for more efficient differentiation inducing factors. A large amount of research and exploration remains to be done before DFAT cells are put into clinical use as the seed cells in the research of regenerative medicine.
