Vibration therapy as a new treatment method plays a more and more important role in the field of rehabilitation. Vibration therapy are increasingly accepted and applied in clinical practice. For vibration therapy, this paper introduces the development history, basic principle, classification, therapy apparatus, and its application and mechanism in rehabilitation for stroke, cerebral palsy and osteoporosis patients with motor dysfunction. The future development of vibration therapy is introduced as well.
